1. ACCEPTANCE: of the fact that our addiction is the product of wrong decisions and fallen human condition.

2. BELIEF: in Jesus Christ who by "grace through faith" provides us with the free gift of eternal salvation; which is the remedy for our condition.
{Eph.2:8-9; Rom.chapt.5-6}

3. COMMITMENT: to the plan of God for our lives consists of; daily prayer to seek His will; meditation on His Word to change our thought life; Bible study for our learning; church attendance for our instruction, edification and fellowship; along with Christian service {soul winning} for which we receive temporal benefits, and eternal rewards.

4. DEPENDENCE: not on people, nor the substance of addiction; but on the "premises of God, which in Him are yea and amen."
{2Cor. 13:5; Col. 3:16; Heb. 4:12}

5. EXAMINATION: of our progress is undertaken by allowing "the Word of Christ to dwell in our hearts richly; thereby testing out thoughts and motives."
{2Cor.13:5; Col.3:16; Heb. 4:12}

6. FORGIVENESS: having paid the penalty for our past, present, and future; and written His laws on our hearts and mind; we know that we should not sin. But if we do, the Father forgives us when we confess to Him; and in application of the precious blood if His Son purges us from guilt and its effects on our conscience. He further remembers sin no more. In humility we are required to accept His forgiveness, forgive others, and forget the negativity of our past, living in the fruits of (repentance) a change of mind.

7. GRATITUDE: Grateful that we who were hell-bound and now heaven-sent as His ambassadors, we keep our eyes on eternity seeking to do His will.
